Andrew Porter might be too modest to admit it, but most people would agree that the gap between himself and Tadhg Furlong has narrowed in recent months.

Although Furlong remains the undisputed first-choice for Leinster and Ireland, Porter is set to start against Benetton on Saturday as he looks to further his claims.
