Henry Slade could face a fight to be fit for the Six Nations after injuring both ankles playing for Exeter against Leicester last weekend.

The centre, 26, hobbled off at Welford Road during the first half of Chiefs’ 31-22 win.

While Exeter were unable to confirm the extent of the injury after initial scans, Slade will almost certainly miss the festive fixtures and the European Champions Cup games in January.
