The tough England forwards blotted the image of themselves and their team with their ungracious behaviour in the immediate aftermath to their Rugby World Cup final loss to South Africa.
Both refused to wear their silver medals after being handed them by World Rugby boss and England great Bill Beaumont.
As disappointed as they may have been, this wasn’t the stage to have a tantrum.

Sinckler allowed Beaumont to place the silver medal around his neck, but immediately removed it, an action that has caused justified dismay on some social media circles.
Itoje shook hands with Beaumont before gesturing that he didn’t want to wear the medal and, instead, took it in his hands.
On a night when emotions were high following a titanic final, there would have been better ways to display disappointment.
