​Ardie Savea and Kendra Cocksedge have been nominated for World Rugby player of the year awards after outstanding years with the All Blacks and Black Ferns.

Savea has been nominated alongside Pieter-Steph du Toit (South Africa), Tom Curry (England), Alun Wyn Jones (Wales), Cheslin Kolbe (South Africa) and Joe Taufete’e (USA), while Cockedge has been named beside Sarah Bern (England), Pauline Bourdon (France), Katy Daley-Mclean (England) and Emily Scarratt (England).
