Blues coach Leon MacDonald remains unsure who his captain for the 2020 season will be, but ruled out his star recruit.

Beauden Barrett’s pending arrival at the Auckland franchise will be the topic of much discussion until he eventually does run out onto Eden Park.

That’s expected to be sometime around the mid-way point of the season, with the Blues kicking off the Super Rugby year against the Chiefs on January 31.
