New Zealanders made up more than one-third of Sam Warburton’s best international XV, but two names were notable omissions.
The former Wales and British and Irish Lions captain, who retired in 2018, wrote in his recently released book Open Side of the best international team he had faced.
At first-five was England’s Jonny Wilkinson, while at openside flanker was Australia’s David Pocock.
That meant there was no space in his run-on team for Dan Carter and Richie McCaw, although both made his bench.
