The BBC unveiled their six-strong shortlist for this year’s Sports Personality of the Year on Monday. The public will vote on December 15 with the winner crowned in Aberdeen that night.
Ben Stokes is the bookies’ favourite for the top gong but starring performances from Dina Asher-Smith, Lewis Hamilton and Alun Wyn Jones may give the cricket star a run for his money.
