Saracens’ case for their defence fell at La Defense as the besieged Barnet bashers were battered by Racing 92.

The reigning European Champions Cup holders suffered their biggest continental defeat in two years as the French piled pain on the under-fire English.

It was Saracens’ first loss in this competition since defeat in the 2018 quarter-final against Leinster; Virimi Vakatawa, Teddy Thomas, Finn Russell and Wenceslas Lauret all scored as Racing won with a bonus-point.
