OPINION:England knocked the All Blacks out of the Rugby World Cup with a dominant 19-7 semifinal victory in Yokohama on Saturday night.

Here are their player ratings. England will play either Wales or South Africa in their fourth World Cup final on November 2. Read the All Blacks player ratings here. 

Elliot Daly 7:Initial break led to Manu Tuilagi’s early try and he always looked dangerous on attack. Questions about his defence were not really tested by the All Blacks.

Anthony Watson 8:Wonderful feet down the right flank with pace to burn. Took a few knocks but his electric running game troubled the All Blacks.

Manu Tuilagi 8:Crashed over for the first score and his sharp intercept and offload would have led to a second early try had his team-mates retained possession. Strong on defence and what a talent the centre is when fit and firing.

Owen Farrell 6:Lost the ball twice when England were hot on attack in the first half and looks less comfortable at second five-eighth. Won a penalty when he went down easily under a challenge from Sam Whitelock and it will not endear him to Kiwi fans. Still, he will captain his country in a World Cup final and was strong in defence. Finished as England’s top tackler. 

Jonny May 6:Didn’t test his hamstring when only Scott Barrett stood between him and a breakaway try but was solid in defence. Taken off early in the second half and was limping.

George Ford 7:Orchestrated England’s early onslaught and more than vindicated his return as the starting first five-eighth. His kicking game was not always outstanding but he runs more dangerous lines than Farrell and it troubled the All Blacks.
