Fiji though will be no pushovers and feature three Olympics gold medallists in their side in Leone Nakarawa, Viliame Mata and Josua Tuisova, while the dangerous Semi Radradra starts on the wing. 14 mins: Volavola tries to set up Radradra with a cross-field kick, though the angle isn’t great and sells the wing short. That said, he still plucks the ball out of the air, but knocks it forwards on the way down. The Wallabies finally make a bit of a statement by winning a penalty at the scrum, and following the ensuing lineout after Lealiifano kicks to touch, they drive the Fijian pack backwards in the maul. The Wallabies spread left and Koroibete has space to cut inside Tuisova, though the ball is eventually knocked forward by a Fijian hand and Australia have an attacking scrum on the 22.

8 mins: A sensational start from Fiji. Straight from the get-go, as soon as they claim possession they want to play it wide. The ball is spread from left to right early to the powerful wing Tuisova, who smashes Hodge to the ground – the Australia is having a painful start to the match – and breaks down the right wing. He offloads in contact to Nayacalevu, and the centre times his pass perfectly to flanker Peceli Yato to go over in the corner. Volavola can’t convert, but Fiji have a good lead.8-0

5 mins: Volavola bisects the posts and Fiji lead!0-3

3 mins: Fiji put a couple of nice phases together that give Radradra the chance to smash into the line not once but twice, bouncing off Hodge both times. Volavola, the fly-half, then puts a neat kick in that finds touch on the Australian five-metre line, and although the Wallabies take the lineout clearly, Foley gets trapped in possession and Fiji win the penalty. Volavola will go for goal.
