The Wallabies take on Fiji in a crucial Pool D clash to start their respective Rugby World Cup campaigns in Japan.
The contest in Sapporo will be a repeat of their pool-stage encounter at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, when the Wallabies won 28-13 in Cardiff.
PLAY-BY-PLAY:
Australia v Fiji
The Wallabies went on to make the final of the 2015 tournament, where they lost to the All Blacks, but have suffered some very lean years under coach Michael Cheika.
Fiji appear to have made great strides under Kiwi-born coach John McKee and will be out to spring a surprise after recording a statement 21-14 win against France in Paris last November.
