Steve Hansen is being given the full celebrity treatment by Japanese fans at the Rugby World Cup but says, ‘I’m not a god, I’m just a normal bloke.’.
Sir Clive Woodward – who coached England to their sole Rugby World Cup title in 2003 – believes Eddie Jones’ team will beat the All Blacks in the 2019 final.
Woodward made his prediction in theDaily Mail, saying he expected the All Blacks to lose to the Springboks and finish second in their pool.
“My gut feeling is an England v New Zealand final, which is the match-up much of the rugby world would like to see,” Woodward wrote.
He based his assessment on England topping their pool and beating Australia in the quarterfinal and the Springboks in the semifinal.

“I think the Kiwis might trip up against the Boks in the pool, which would mean a possible quarterfinal against Ireland and perhaps a semi against Wales or France. Let’s say Wales!,” Woodward wrote.
“If this pans out, England would probably have had the toughest route to a final in history, but they have the squad to cope with it and they will be battle-hardened. If they reach the final, I’m backing them to win it.”
