Kings Cross Steelers, the world’s first gay and inclusive rugby team, came away with top honours at the Guinness National Rugby Awards on Thursday night. 

The West Ham-based side were named men’s team of the year at the ceremony at Twickenham, which celebrates achievement in grass-roots and amateur rugby.
