England score eight tries in crushing win over Ireland at Twickenham

New Zealand-born midfielder Bundee Aki says Ireland have six days to get their Rugby World Cup campaign back on track after a demoralising defeat to England.

Aki scored Ireland’s consolation second try in a 57-15 loss at Twickenham on Saturday (Sunday NZ time).

It was Ireland’s heaviest loss of Kiwi coach Joe Schmidt’s six-year coaching tenure and the Irish now have to turn around and face world number one Wales in Cardiff next Saturday (Sunday NZ time).

“We’ve got six days to turn this around, to be able to put in a performance we’re proud of,” Aki told reporters at Twickenham.
