England meet Six Nations rivals Ireland in what could prove a full-blooded Test at Twickenham after both sides named strong line-ups for their Rugby World Cup warm-up match.

Following two experimental games against Wales that brought a home win and away defeat, England return to their familiar stamping grounds with their big guns back in force, with Eddie Jones selecting a full-strength side featuring the likes of Owen Farrell, Manu Tuilagi and Billy Vunipola.

Ireland will prove no pushovers though in a rivalry that has come to define Jones’ and Joe Schmidt’s time in charge of the two national teams, and although the Irish are without injured Johnny Sexton, they will arrive in south-west London with an impressive-looking line-up.

The match is England’s third warm-up clash, while for Ireland it will be their second following the victory over Italy a fortnight ago, but given the strength of the two sides it will arguably prove the most important one ahead of Japan 2019.

Here’s everything you need to know for Saturday’s Rugby World Cup warm-up.
