Ten has further backed its investment in sport with the appointment of a Sydney sport sales manager. Susan Young joins from 14 years with Nine, and will be responsible for driving sport sales revenue in the Sydney market.
Young commences her role on 15 July, and will report in to Ten’s national sport sales director Nisar Malik.
The announcement comes as Ten prepares for its second half line-up of sport, and will complete the sport sales team, which sits within the national sales team. The team includes specialists in strategy, integration and digital across all markets.
Ten’s national sales director Lisa Squillace said the expansions continues the plan put in place following Ten’s split with MCN.
“When sales was brought back in-house to Ten, our objective was to build an experienced, platform-agnostic sales team,” said Squillace.
